Terms of Service

1. Membership and accounts

Bush Bush Land is an invitation-only community for personal, noncommercial use. Use only an invitation or Google account that an administrator has authorized for you. You must be legally able to agree to these terms.

Keep your invitation code and account credentials private. Do not share, sell, or transfer account access without an administrator’s permission. You are responsible for your use of your account; tell an administrator promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. We may limit membership and permissions to protect the community.

2. Community rules

Use the Service respectfully and lawfully. You must not:

• Harass, bully, threaten, impersonate, or exploit another person.
• Post unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise harmful content, or disclose someone’s private information without permission.
• Upload content you do not have the right to share, including content that infringes copyright, privacy, or other rights.
• Send spam, distribute malware, guess invitation codes, bypass access controls, access another person’s account, or disrupt the Service.
• Use automated tools to collect member information or manipulate likes, coin balances, or virtual purchases.

Report harmful content, security issues, or suspected rights violations to Sophia Renie at bushbushland@googlegroups.com. Include enough information to identify the issue without sharing account credentials.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the posts, photos, videos, and other material you submit. You give us permission to store, copy, resize, format, and display that material only as needed to operate and maintain the Service. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit it and grant that permission. We do not use your content to train artificial intelligence models.

Your posts are shared with other members. Uploaded files can also be viewed by anyone who has their direct URL, even without a member account. You can delete your own posts, but copies may remain temporarily in backups or caches, or in material saved by others. The permission above ends when your content is removed from our active systems, except as needed for those limited retained copies or legal obligations.

We may remove content or limit posting permissions to enforce these terms or protect the community. We do not promise to review every post, and members are responsible for what they share. Do not rely on the Service as the only backup of your content.

4. Virtual coins and items

Coins and room decorations are virtual features for enjoyment within the Service. Coins are earned through site activity; the room shop uses virtual coins rather than real-money payments. Coins and items have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for money or transferred outside the Service. Acquiring an item gives you permission to use it within the Service.

We may adjust earning rules, prices, balances, or available items, including to correct errors or abuse. We do not guarantee that coins, items, or room features will remain available indefinitely. If we introduce paid features, we will disclose their prices and applicable terms before you choose to buy them.

5. Our materials and third-party services

We and our licensors retain rights in the Service’s software, design, branding, and other materials, apart from member content. You may use those materials as part of the Service; these terms do not give you other ownership rights. You may offer suggestions, and we may use that feedback without an obligation to compensate you.

Third-party services, including Google sign-in, have their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for services or content operated by others.

6. Changes, suspension, and leaving

We may change or discontinue features and suspend or close accounts that violate these terms, create security risks, harm others, or must be restricted by law. Where practical, we will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to resolve the issue. Urgent safety or security concerns may require immediate action.

You may stop using the Service at any time. To close your account or request deletion of your information, email bushbushland@googlegroups.com. Data handling after closure is described in the Privacy Policy. Provisions concerning ownership, retained content, disclaimers, liability, and disputes continue as needed after your use ends.

7. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, we provide the Service "as is" and "as available", without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free content, or that information will never be lost or accessed without authorization. Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that the law does not allow us to exclude.

8. Limits on liability

To the extent permitted by law, neither you nor we will be liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the Service. Our total liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of US $100 or the amount you paid us for the Service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, or liability that cannot legally be limited, and do not reduce your mandatory consumer rights.

9. Disputes and general terms

Please contact an administrator first so we can try to resolve a concern informally. Nothing in these terms prevents you from seeking a remedy in a court with jurisdiction or using rights available under applicable law, including the mandatory consumer protections where you live.

These terms are the agreement between you and us about use of the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A failure to enforce a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later. You may not transfer your account or rights under these terms without our permission. We may transfer the Service and these terms to a successor, subject to your applicable rights and our privacy obligations.

10. Updates and contact

We may update these terms by posting a revised version and updating the effective date. We will give reasonable advance notice of material changes through the site or an available contact method, except when urgent legal or security needs require a faster change. Changes apply prospectively. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms, subject to any additional agreement required by law.
